- 1 lb thin-cut bacon, each slice cut into three

Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Grease a baking dish or sheet pan with nonstick spray and preheat the oven to 350°F. Optionally, line the pan with foil for easier cleanup.
- Prepare Sausages: Pat the little smokies dry with a paper towel. Wrap each sausage with a piece of bacon and secure it with a toothpick to keep the bacon in place during cooking.
- Coat with Brown Sugar: Place the brown sugar into a large zip-top plastic bag. Add a few of the bacon-wrapped sausages to the bag, seal it, and shake gently to coat the sausages evenly with brown sugar. Remove the sausages and place them on the prepared pan. Repeat this process until all sausages are coated.
- Add Pepper: Sprinkle freshly grated black pepper over the coated sausages according to your taste preference.
- Bake: Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake the sausages for 30-35 minutes, or until the bacon is nicely browned and cooked through.
- Broil for Crispiness: If you prefer crispier bacon, turn on the broiler for a few minutes after baking to brown the bacon further, watching carefully to prevent burning.
