Description

Enjoy the cozy flavors of the holiday season with this Starbucks-copycat Christmas Gingerbread Latte. Infused with warm spices like ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice, this creamy espresso drink is perfect for a festive treat at home.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 shots espresso
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon allspice
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 cup whipped cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a small saucepan, add the almond milk, espresso, ground ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and sugar.
  2. Heat Mixture: Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring occasionally to blend the spices and sugar well.
  3. Simmer and Stir: Once simmering, reduce the heat to low and continue to stir regularly for 2 minutes to let the flavors infuse without boiling.
  4. Serve: Remove from heat and pour the latte evenly into two cups.
  5. Garnish: Top each cup with whipped cream if desired, and serve immediately for best flavor.

Notes

  • If you don’t have an espresso machine or coffee maker, use instant coffee by combining 1/4 cup boiling water with 2 teaspoons instant or decaf coffee and reduce the almond milk to 1 3/4 cups.
  • For an iced version, pour the latte over a glass filled with ice cubes before adding whipped cream.
  • Any type of sugar can be used based on preference or dietary needs.
  • Almond milk can be substituted with any other milk, such as dairy or oat milk.
