Ingredients
Scale
Dip
- 12 oz cream cheese softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese, divided
- 2 tsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 6 oz lump crab meat
- 3 green onions, sliced
Wonton Crisps
- 1 package wonton wrappers, cut into triangles (2 per sheet)
- Cooking spray as needed
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Set your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit to get ready for baking both the wonton crisps and the dip.
- Prepare wonton crisps: Arrange the cut wonton triangles on a baking sheet, spray lightly with cooking spray, then bake for 7 minutes until they turn golden brown and crispy. Remove and set aside.
- Mix dip ingredients: In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, soy sauce, and garlic powder until smooth and well combined. Gently fold in the lump crab meat, half of the shredded Monterey Jack cheese, and sliced green onions.
- Assemble dip: Transfer the crab mixture into a small baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining shredded Monterey Jack cheese evenly over the top.
- Bake dip: Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 25 minutes until the dip is bubbly and the cheese on top is golden brown.
- Garnish and serve: Remove from oven, garnish with additional green onions, and drizzle with Sriracha if desired. Serve warm alongside baked wonton crisps or pita chips for dipping.
Notes
- Leftover dip should be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator and consumed within 2 days for optimal freshness. Reheat in the oven or microwave before serving.
- Wonton chips can be stored at room temperature for up to 2 days, keeping them crisp.
- If mayonnaise is unavailable, you can substitute with additional sour cream or Greek yogurt for a slight tang.
- For extra flavor, a splash of sesame oil can be added to the dip mixture.
