Description

Crispy and flavorful Garlic Parmesan Wings cooked to perfection in the oven, featuring a savory blend of garlic, parmesan cheese, and aromatic herbs for a delicious appetizer or main dish.

Ingredients

Scale

Seasoning Mix

  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder (optional)

Main

  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Garlic Parmesan Wing Sauce

  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, freshly grated

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Heat the oven to 400F (200C) and arrange a rack in the middle of the oven for even cooking.
  2. Prepare Seasoning Mix: In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and optional baking powder to create the spice blend for the wings.
  3. Season the Wings: Place chicken wings in a baking dish and sprinkle evenly with the seasoning mix, ensuring each wing is well coated. Drizzle olive oil on top and toss gently to coat.
  4. Bake the Wings: Place the wings in the oven and bake for 45 minutes until they are cooked through and starting to crisp.
  5. Make Garlic Parmesan Sauce: While wings bake, melt butter in a small pot over low heat. Add minced garlic and chopped parsley, stirring until the garlic becomes fragrant. Remove from heat.
  6. Toss Wings in Sauce and Finish Baking: Remove wings from oven, pour the garlic butter sauce over them, and sprinkle freshly grated parmesan cheese on top. Return wings to oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes until wings become crispy and lightly browned.

Notes

  • TO STORE: Transfer leftover wings into an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 4 days.
  • TO FREEZE: Place leftovers in a shallow container and store them in the freezer for up to 6 months.
  • TO REHEAT: Reheat chicken wings in the oven or air fryer to retain crispiness. Avoid microwaving as it will make wings soggy.
