Description

Delicious and easy Oreo Fudge made with white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk, studded with chopped Oreo cookies for a creamy, decadent treat perfect for sharing or gifting.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk, 14 oz
  • 2 ¾ cups (468g) white chocolate chips
  • 10 Oreos, chopped, plus a few additional broken Oreos for the top
  • ⅛ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan: Line an 8 or 9 inch square baking dish with aluminum foil, ensuring the foil extends up the sides of the pan. Set aside.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a microwave-safe glass bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk and white chocolate chips. Stir them together with a spatula until mixed.
  3. Microwave and Stir: Microwave the mixture on full power for 1 minute. Stir thoroughly until the chocolate chips melt completely and the mixture is smooth. Avoid overcooking as it can cause the fudge to become crumbly.
  4. Add Flavorings: Stir in the chopped Oreos, salt, and vanilla extract until evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
  5. Transfer and Set: Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly. Press extra broken Oreos on top if desired. Let the fudge set at room temperature for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.
  6. Serve and Store: Once set, remove the fudge from the pan using the foil, cut into 25 squares, and store in an airtight container at room temperature for 1 to 2 weeks.

Notes

  • Make sure not to over-microwave the fudge mixture to prevent a grainy texture.
  • Using high-quality white chocolate chips improves the richness and flavor.
  • You can press extra Oreos on top for added texture and decoration.
  • For easier removal, chill the fudge in the refrigerator after setting to firm it more quickly.
  • Store the fudge in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
