Description

Delicious and easy Turkey Sliders made with Hawaiian rolls, thin-sliced deli turkey, Swiss cheese, and a flavorful butter mixture with Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and everything bagel seasoning. Perfect as a warm appetizer or a light meal, baked to melty perfection and packed with savory goodness.

Ingredients

Scale

Sliders

  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • ¾ pound thin-sliced deli turkey
  • ¾ pound thin-sliced Swiss cheese

Butter Topping

  • ½ cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
  • ½ tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tablespoon everything bagel seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven and Prepare Pan: Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line a 9×13-inch casserole dish with foil and spray the bottom with nonstick spray to prevent sticking.
  2. Slice Rolls and Layer Bottoms: Without separating the rolls, slice them horizontally in half. Place the bottom half of the rolls into the prepared casserole dish evenly.
  3. Add Turkey and Cheese Layers: Layer the thinly sliced deli turkey evenly over the bottom halves of the rolls. Then layer the thinly sliced Swiss cheese over the turkey.
  4. Top with Roll Halves: Place the top halves of the Hawaiian rolls onto the cheese layer, covering the sliders.
  5. Prepare Butter Mixture: Melt the unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl or on the stovetop. Stir in Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and everything bagel seasoning until well combined.
  6. Brush Topping: Brush the seasoned butter mixture evenly over the tops of the rolls. Let the rolls sit for 5 minutes to absorb some of the butter flavor.
  7. Bake the Sliders: Cover the casserole dish with foil and bake for about 30 minutes to warm through and melt the cheese. Remove the foil for the last 5 minutes of baking to brown the tops slightly.
  8. Serve Warm: Remove from the oven and serve the turkey sliders warm for the best flavor and texture.

Notes

  • Adjust serving sizes: 1-2 sliders per person as an appetizer, 3 sliders per person for a meal.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
  • Use Hawaiian rolls for their sweet, soft texture which complements the savory filling perfectly.
  • Substitute Swiss cheese with provolone or cheddar if preferred for different flavor profiles.
  • Brush the butter mixture generously to ensure flavorful, moist tops.
